We raise St Croix hair sheep. We selected St Croix because of their parasite resistance, docile nature, mild tasting meat and the fact that they do not need to be sheared. We have been so pleased with them. St Croix have humorous personalities and do a heck of a job cutting grass!!. We have not had to mow our pastures for the three years we've had them.
We sell regisistered and non registered St Croix lambs. They make an excellent small farm flock.
We are having a wonderful lambing season with 16 on the ground and expeccting a total of 30. Mamas are doing great and babes are thusfar healthy and happy . Lambs will be available in early July
We have 5 registered ewes and expect to have 8-10 ewes. We will be able to offer 1 starter registered beginner flock with one unrelated registered ram.
